We always go to the Layton location and really like it there. Today however we tried the Centerville location and it didn't meet our expectations. Service was spotty and everything was swimming in red sauce. A taco is a handheld food and should not be soggy and sloppy. Servers were sent to correct it and were helpful to a point.
Food on one plate was cold and the 2 others super hot … Waitress was sitting at a big table in front when we needed her . Didn’t come back and check on us till we wanted to leave . The food was real bland . Chicken had no seasoning on both plates we had got it with . Overall wasn’t expecting the food to be bland , and service to suck would have stayed home for what we got . Do not recommend this place at all.
Still the best Mex,,,, Anywhere on the planet! The Verde is unmatched and defreakinglicious. I've been coming here or LaFrontera, or Lorainas (same recipe) since I was a teenager in the 80s. This food is the gold standard of Mexican food. All others can close for all I care lol.
